Punting Along the "Backs" Cambridge.

A walk along the "Backs" of the colleges, watching the punts on the river Cam, then crossed Clare Bridge back into the city for tea and cake. Didn't see any mishaps today on the river. Sometimes the pole gets stuck and they go off without it, and once I saw a young man mid river clinging to the pole, while his friends used an oar to row off, leaving him there. Needless to say, he ended up in the water !
