Trig 2: Moel Siabod

The second day of walking with an old friend (same age, actually!): we climbed Moel Siabod from the south side, starting at Dolwyddelan. An easy first stage through the forestry led to an area of newly felled trees and no sign of the path onwards - struggled upwards to the lake and then climbed up the ridge to the summit - wonderful views all around. Back heading west along the ridge and then turned back eastwards down a steep grass hill to Llynau Diwaunydd and thence to more forestry through which the track zig-zagged quite needlessly! And so out to a lane, a footpath behind Castle Dolwyddelan and our cars.
