Boxing Gloves

A beautiful garden spider (Araneidae: Araneus diadematus) with her fabulous boxing gloves and talking of boxing gloves I'm so pleased for Nicola Adams for winning gold in the first womens boxing event in the Olympic Games. She did it convincingly too winning 16-7 over Chinese boxer Ren Cancan.

There was a second gold in the games for Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro with a massive score of 90.08% in the dressage. With no money her mum bought her a horse with the inheritance money from her grandmother, how lovely to have that support for her talent with horses.
