A Dog's Dinner

In the Deep Midwinter

It's been a cold, damp and dark day today in The Glen. In fact it only really got light for about two hours before the mid-winter gloom returned at three thirty. No one's moving around - I only saw one person today - all is in deep hibernation.

It's a time for soup, home made bread and log fires and that's what's lined up for this evening and maybe a book to settle into.

Moving North, even for a short time and you enter a new time zone. Everything is getting a wee bit slower and slower

I like it.
