Clickychick's Studio near Penrith, with Hildasrose

Only one candidate for today's blip. We called in at Clickychick's studio, Art by Camera near Penrith to see her work and the work of her business partner Richard Harrison who also has a wood craft sudio almost next door.

We had a great chat for over an hour about photography, cameras and blips as well as admiring Sue and Richard's work. Met also Hildasrose who also called up. This is the first time I've met anyone from the bliposphere and what a pleasurable experience it was too. Put me in contact with other blippers too. So looking forward to travelling back up to the Lakes again in November to meet other blippers.

From there we called in at Reghed and stayed almost three hours before setting off for the 300+ mile trip back to Kent. Enjoyed Rheged very much especially the Cumbrian Artist of the Year exhibition. I spotted a painting by Jonathan Trotman whose work I've seen at the Inn on the Lake and much admired but didn't know who he was. Now I know.

A quite eventful journey back, sat nav playing tricks with dodgy traffic information but it only delayed us by about an hour in the end.
