Robbie Shepherd

Another beautiful Indian Summer day.  Did some housework in the morning, and in the afternoon walked for an hour and finished at Hunter House for coffee, joined by the HG, who had been gardening in the afternoon.  Then had a chat with E, just home from her driving lesson...... and the HG gave her a lift down to the town centre to shop.

Hoping C and K are having a great time, and also A and K, who are also on holiday.......

I was sad to read in the Times of the retirement of Robbie Shepherd as presenter of Take the Floor, the Scottish dance music show which has been broadcast on the radio every Saturday evening for yonks   As we are often out on Saturday, quite often dancing, I try to catch the repeat on a Sunday, and always enjoy it when I can.  Not so long ago he featured on his show the music of the late Norrie Williams, well known in Scottish music circles, a neighbour and friend of our's, much missed.

Good luck to Gary Innes who will take over from Robbie.
