Goldcrest

We were worried about this gorgeous little bird as it came to an abrupt 'stop' on the conservatory door! It sat huddled on the door sill for a while just looking around, so we guessed that it was probably just winded. Then it flew a short way and sat on the stems of the Papyrus, where it very kindly waited for me to get my camera, and posed for a couple of shots before flying away.
It was so sweet, and so small too!
