Sgwarnog: In the Field

Drone

Mid-way through the second half, the referee takes the players off the pitch as a drone is sighted above Valley Parade. Several players stretch their necks, handy exercise for the next high ball lofted in to James Hanson.

A few minutes later we were back underway, Bristol Rovers the guests on this occasion. Once again Bradford City were dominating the match. Once again Bradford City drew. Still unbeaten in the league, yes, but three draws in four home games has been frustrating. I thought the return of James Hanson had an adverse effect on the quality of play. Romain Vincelot has been playing out from the back all season; the start of much of Bradford's good football. Today he was aiming hopeful balls up to Hanson.  Still, League One is an endurance event, not a sprint, and City look like they have a strong, deep squad that can last the pace.
