Bridge that gap - again.

This is a bit of an emergency blip as I fully intended to retake this shot (or something similar) this evening with my 'proper' camera.

However, I was watching my Grandson play football and it was just too dark by the time we got home.

Having been a teenager when the existing Forth Road Bridge was being built, I'm keen to see how the new (so-called 'replacement') crossing takes shape.

The black 'blob' near the middle of the photo is one of the cassions that will be sunk to form part of the foundation for the bridge support and I find it all a bit fascinating.

I must head back down to South Queensferry soon to take some close up shots.
