Bell

Today we had a memorial service for our fellow ringer Colin.  

I was asked to pay tribute to him on behalf of all the bell ringers, I am not a public speaker but, as Tower Captain, I decided this was something I could not duck out of, it was too important.  So I pulled on my big girl pants and did it, I'm so glad I did!

It was a lovely service and we had some lovely ringing before and afterwards, such a pity he wasn't here to join in as he would have loved it.

Rest is Peace Colin, we'll miss you always.

I couldn't get up into the Tower today to get a picture of the Church bells so this is our door bell which is made from a hand bell.
