Partick Curling Club Trophy.

I visited Partick Curling Club today as part of Doors Open.
This trophy was the bell rung for weddings and more often funerals in the Burgh of Partick. When the Burgh was taken over by the City of Glasgow the bell went into disuse and then disappeared for many years only to turn up in Edinburgh. It was returned to Partick and became the trophy of the curling club. Only teams with a member living in Partick can take the trophy home after victory.
