Super Day Out

Today we headed to Lake Hawea, parked at the DOC car park, and walked from there around the Dingleburn Bluffs, and had our lunch sitting in the warm sunshine.  (Extra No. 1).  On our way to the lunch spot a truck carrying wool bales passed by, and we all had to stand back against the rock wall, as there wasn't much room to spare!  (Extra No. 2).  It was a beautiful walk back to the cars and the lake calmed down, and the reflections were just perfect.  The 17 of us finished the afternoon with a welcome cuppa at a local Hawea Cafe.
