Snow on the berg!

What a contrast. Most of last week was in the mid to high 20's with one day hitting 32 degrees.  Saturday was cool early on but the sun was soon out and we spent a fair bit of time outdoors.

It was a bit of a shock to the system to wake up to a very overcast sky and a forecast of rain for the rest of the day. The rain we needed but not the plummeted temperatures, we think it reached a maximum of 12.  On top of that we had no power from 07h00 to just after 14h00.

The upside was that it got us moving to sort out some cupboards that have needed some clearing out for a while. The APD home based care workers will be receiving bundles of stuff in the morning which I am sure they will be happy to distribute and we will be able to find what we are looking for for a change.

We did manage a walk with the hoolies before the rain started after which Tundra was very happy to move to the sofa to see the chilly day out.  Sensible chap!
