A step in Faith

Interesting to watch this little insect putting a foot out gingerly and finding nothing there and going back. How I wish I had extension tubes so to get a better image.
I should know the name of this insect but don't, perhaps someone can enlighten me.
Another grey day and to be the same again tomorrow. So uninspiring
