Raffle Prize

In my blip from Saturday, I explained that I had been to a social history talk at a community walled garden (Whickham Hermitage Garden) in the village where I live.  There was also a raffle on and I bought a strip of tickets.  Late on Saturday afternoon I received a phone call to say I had one.

Today I went to collect my prize - a clock and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.  I must admit that a glass has already been consumed with my tea.

It's been a beautiful day so when we went to collect my prize we ordered tea and teacakes and sat outside by the pont in the community garden.
