Spurious correlations & Scots words for snow

An entertaining day at school today.

Tickled pink by the (spurious) correlation between per capita consumption of cheese (US) and number of people who died by becoming entangled in their bed sheets.

Also a few of the current 417 Scots words for snow - my particular favourite is a doon-come (a heavy fall of sleet or snow).

Also amused by this lone goose who has decided he's a swan - following the male swan all about. Never realised quite how noisy moorhens are either
