Geese

I decided to photograph the sky earlier on this evening because for a brief period there were some lovely clouds and while I was doing this some geese flew overhead.  I checked the WWT Caerlaverock website (the blip spell checker can't cope with the word Caerlaverock) and it says that some Barnacle geese have arrived here from Svalbard for the winter.  I am not sure what kind of geese these are exactly but I love the V formation, a great example of team work.
