Today is incredibly hot, as forecast, and although it's ok sitting here in the dark in the village house, when we go back to the Mas this afternoon I think it'll have to be spent in the pool in the shade to make it at all bearable. No windows, curtains, shutters will be opened before about 8pm... if then.

How do these snails survive without being cooked?
