Festival Queuing

Seriously. Edinburgh is so bloody wet at this time of year - we should move the Festival to September. I had a text from Lucy to tip me off to Eddie Izzard's first Festival appearance in a decade (or so) today, so snapped up some tickets to see one of my favourite comedians. Arrived two hours before the show for a natter and already there were lines of folk up the Mound and round onto the High Street.
The Whiski Rooms on North Bank Street provided welcome shelter and pints of Flying Scotsman while we waited for the queues and rain to die down. Queues for a different show. Ahem.

Eddie is still on fine form.
