Provence 4

This morning we set off as usual for another panting site, this time the tiny village of Murs, another well kept jumble of old stone buildings, based round a chateau, only a 15 minute drive from Les Bassacs. This is a very rural area and there is something really clear about the light, so today I had a go at the landscape seen from one of the terraces, shown in the blip. Apologies for the grainy phone blip!
This is an interesting group of people, some have an art school background but have gone into various areas. For example there are two who have had long careers and are very well known in art conservation. We are an international group wth representatives from USA, Canada, Australia, England and of course moi from Scotland. This afternoon after another fantastic lunch, (I will certainly be putting on weight), we are going to a nearby site or doing some work in the studio. The extra, if I can get it to load is a sketch I did yesterday at Oppede le Vieux.
