Full Dress Rehearsal

Every third tuesday in september is called 'Prinsjesdag' in Holland and marks the opening of a new Parliament year.

The King and Queen ride from the Palace to the Houses of Parliament to read the 'Throne Speech'. On this ride the are accompanied by several Cavalry Regiments and to be sure the horses are stress proof for - lets say terrorist attacks- or other disturbances they are trained with cheering crowds - me for one ;-) - fire crackers, gun shots, music bands and smoke bombs on the beach the monday before.
