Somerset cottages

This morning N and I drove to Lopen to visit a friend who was hosting a Somerset Arts Week venue with her hand-finished photographs in her barn together with a wood turner and his beautiful wares and a local basket maker.  N bought a Sika deer antler handled walking stick and a letter opener.   I bought a cheese knife, an antler bone dog whistle and a photograph with some cards - thinking of Christmas already!

On the way back we stopped at a friend's house to check all was well while they were away and to pick up windfalls from their Bramley apple tree in the garden.

T has a bad tooth infection and the antibiotics havn't kicked in yet although they are of a high dosage.  Perhaps tomorrow things will get better.
