Friday: Destiny

After work tonight I decided to head to Holyrood Park to take advantage of the rare sunshine.

I lay in the sun with a diet coke, fizzy strawberry laces and The Woman Who Died a Lot. This is Jasper Fforde's 7th installment of the Thursday Next series. Fforde is my favourite author, he's a genius! I almost didn't want to finish reading it, but I did. I'm placated by the fact he's now writing the 8th installment.

I'm going to see Jasper Fforde at the Edinburgh Book Festival on the 25 August. I can't wait. I see him every time he comes to Scotland. I have to admit, I have a crush on him. He's so charismatic and I love the way his mind works!
