Foreshortened view of Wareham and Northmoor

How the town looks from the top of the Purbeck ridge, about four miles to its south.  To the right is Lady St Mary church.  At the left the South Bridge (over the river Frome) can just be discerned.  In the background is Wareham Forest.

To indicate the degree of foreshortening, the extensive water meadows visible to the south of the town are over half a mile wide.
