Weekend guest

It's a long time since I have been in these woods, it used to be my regular walk when we had our dog. The sunlight through the trees was beautiful this evening, the floor beneath the trees is full of bramblesi they have taken over from the carpet of bluebells and wood anenome which flower in the spring. The only downside was that we almost got run over on the narrow path by two mountain bike riders, the wood used to be used by so few people - it was a bit of a shock.

We have a doggy guest for the weekend so we are enjoying the chance to walk here.

I know we could walk here without a dog but it's just not the same somehow!
