Basking in faded glory

Spotted this rose as I stepped off the bus this morning. It was front-lit so I took the back: focus could be better, but I was on my way to give an 09:00 lecture. Busy morning but I managed to clear my desk sufficiently to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon on "research" work.
