Scribbler

By scribbler

Look what's blooming at the library!

"Full many a flower is born to bloom unseen
And waste its sweetness on the desert air."
 — Thomas Gray

I was repeating Gray's poem to myself as I walked into the library when this little sprite rushed past, bent on urgent business. She is definitely not going to bloom unseen!

Because I have none of my own, children are especially precious to me.
To my eye, little ones Kara's age are truly like flowers. Hence, this unusual interpretation of Flower Friday.

In the extra, if your eyes are good you can make out the word "scribbler" on the paper Kara is holding. Her family may soon include a new blipper.
