Hebden Bridge Picture House

The Halifax Friends of Palestine had a stall at the cinema this evening which was showing a Palestinian film called 'Idol'. It was extremely good and told a lovely story about some kids in Gaza who start a band and one of them goes on to win 'Arab Pop Idol'. A real feel-good movie which makes a lovely change from what we normally see about Palestine.
