Wrexham 0 Chester FC 0

The Cross Border Classico must have been a spectacularly dull affair for any neutral watching live on BT Sport. However it never appears so bad when you are watching your own team live at your closest rivals. I thought we were much the better footballing team although we didn't create any clear cut chances.

As usual it was a bubble match (see my blips for the last two years from Wrexham). It remains the only football game in the country where visiting fans can only go to the game on specially designated buses. With the game being televised, a 12:15 kick-off and many fans fed up with the treatment by the police there were only 550 Chester fans there on 12 coaches. In the first season of the bubble there were 23 coaches.

Anyway it was a very good point for Chester so the trip didn't appear that bad. Here is another of my football ground panoramas.
