Kitchen Cove, 17.39, 24.09.16

Dreadful weather over night - heavy rain and winds and much greyness during the day but the sun has just peeped out and fortunately I was on my way home, ready to stop off at Kitchen Cove. No human activity that I could see, just a nice light bouncing off the boats.

An interesting afternoon invigilating at my friends' Rock Art exhibition in the Blue House Gallery. A horde of 9 people wafted through during the afternoon, one chap stayed for an hour and wanted to talk about just about everything. If you follow the link, the main photo was attracting much interest (this is in the window) not for the rock art but for the cow! Ken Williams is an amazing photographer, specialising in prehistoric subjects. He's developed his own closely guarded technique that reveals all the intricate patterns and textures on a monument. It's not his main job, he just nips off to interesting sites in his spare time! Impressive.

And thanks for all the faves for Chirpy - he's getting very big headed!
