Gloomy Glasgow

We travelled up to Glasgow on the train today. We had to change in Manchester, and the first train was absolutely heaving. We only found out later that Man Utd were at home and it was a midday kick off. as well as lots of students returning for the start of term and Saturday shoppers. It has alternated between heavy and torrential rain since we arrived, and we ventured out only to eat. Fortunately, the forecast for tomorrow is better. This is actually a trip for Mr PB to go to several race meetings, so I'm tagging along for a leisurely break. Hoping to get across to Edinburgh on Tuesday to meet up with two of my favourite blippers for a little light birding. We are on the 10th floor of our hotel. So even with the terrible weather, the view is pretty spectacular.
