Laughing on the bus, playing games with the faces

We set off early to get to the Lake District before the traffic built up, but there was still a stop start crawl, near Holmes Chappel. We stopped off to see our daughter and Son in Law and baby Lucie, who was cuter than ever and has learned lots of new skills in the last month or so.
We called in to see blipper Clickychick in her studio/ gallery near Penrith and had a lovely cuppa and a chat with her and R. she has some lovely cards and photos on sale.
We are having a little Blipmeet at the Dog and Gun in Keswick on Wednesday evening at 6 pm, if anyone local can make it.
At least, that's the plan, if there's a table available
The town is heaving with people, our friends wanted to come up with their caravan this week, but the campsites have been booked up for weeks. We couldn't book a table at the Indian restaurant until 9.30. It's so busy everywhere! It seems that the Lake District is recovering well from the floods and devastation of last winter. Good news!
We went to Booths and bought curry instead, and the bus to Kendal was waiting there about to depart.
