Gorgeous Saturday: farms & markets

We had a slow start this morning and then dropped my sweetie off for his rowing carpool as they had a race in Welland. We then went off to the Dutch Market Farm and Springridge Farm. Such georgeous weather and absolutey for an autumn visit to the farms. Awesome bakeries/cafes and we shopped and ate most of the day. We enjoyed our lattes in the sunshine, this photo is of my good friend R relaxing. We had such a fun girly day. The bottom photo is of a sign from the shop that we found hilarious! Off to the airport to pick up my brother tonight, so excited! We made chocolate mayonaise cupcakes with 1 inch thick icing, just like my mom used to make, just to welcome my brother!
