A day with Abel

What a day we picked to go down and visit Abel in Eugene. Both of the university football teams, the University of Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers, had home games. (They both lost} The traffic on I-5 , which is usually heavy, was horrible. The time with Abel and his parents was wonderful though. We visited a farm with animals to pet and fresh produce to buy. Now I have a whole box of fresh corn to prepare for winter.
