Weeping Window, Perth

Our train left Edinburgh at 9.33am so we had a quick breakfast before hand and then walked past the roadworks and building site to Waverley Station. The train was on time and it was nt long until we arrived in Perth. We caught the special Poppy bus to the Back watch Museum and walked round the Weeping Window display of hundreds of ceramic poppies cascading from the second floor turret window down into the castle grounds. It was dry but with the threat of rain and it was quite difficult to get a shot without any glare in it.
It was busy , probably because the poppies go tomorrow, but we managed to get a seat in the cafe and waited to be served. We waited and waited and in the end gave up and caught the Gold Bus back to Perth. We had some sandwiches and soup and a few drinks in a hotel before catching the train back to Inverness. No first class carriage this time so a good job our tickets only cost us £10. Free drinks and biscuits though :)

I've added added yesterdays blip too
