Heroes and Villains...

We've been to the most utterly amazing 40th Birthday party.

Imagine a moor-top house commanding breathtaking views of the Wharfe valley, with grounds big enough for the Charabar, an open top double decker bar (birthday boy's own), the Wood Fired Pizza Company in charge of the afternoon's sustenance, a whole hog roasting for later, the world famous Brighouse and Rastrick brass band for entertainment, a never ending serve yourself fizz bar, all your friends and acquaintances resplendent in imaginative costume, and later a live band, dancing, fireworks...

We didn't have to imagine. Thank you Alice and Moff, what a day.

A bevy of blip opportunities presented as I'm sure you can imagine. I was torn between the hostess as Maleficent, the birthday boy as Buzz Lightyear conducting his own brass band, the Child Catcher rounding up the littlies... but I liked the moodiness and decadence of this photo. Something a little bit special, a perfect memory of the day.

My head is sore...
