Plumpton Rocks

Went for a walk around nearby Plumpton Rocks this afternoon.
It's the first time I have actually been in as the place has been closed for a while for a bit of a refurbishment and tidy up.
This is a view of one of the rocky outcrops from across the man-made lake. Legend has it that Robin Hood hunted deer here, although we didn't come across any.
It is certainly very peaceful, and apparently Queen Mary described it as 'Heaven on earth'
