Mormon Temple, Salt Lake City, UT - back blip

We began the day at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge on the Great Salt Lake. It is not the best season to see the large number of birds who nest there, but we were treated to several white Pelicans, shore birds and ducks. Soon after we left, we experienced a pretty bad hail storm and thunderstorm. When it was safe to travel, we headed to Salt Lake City, UT and toured much of the area known as Temple Square, including the impressive Mormon Temple pictured above. However, it wasn't until later that night when I was researching the structures, that I realized that building isn't the Mormon Tabernacle. How disappointed I was that I hadn't taken a photo of that historic building although we walked all around it and could hear the famous choir begin their practice.
