Above And Beyond...

I Can See A Rainbow

After a lazy lay in, we left home midday to do a circular walk of The Skirrid Mountain; then a climb up to the top to the trig point where there are stunning views.

On the way around it, there was a half rainbow but as we got to the trig it suddenly developed into a full arc rainbow. I got Mrs BB to stand next to the trig point and took a photo her looking out at it and the views. Isn't nature beautiful as well as cruel, sometimes.

Ysgyryd Fawr (or Skirrid) is 1594 feet high and lies north east of Abergavenny (Monmouthshire, UK) about 10 miles from the English border. The Beacons Way passes along the ridge. The ridge is made up of old red standstone.
