diseased wombat

i came across this poor creature whilst out in the fields today
this wombat is probably infected with sarcoptic 'mange' mite
it causes hair loss and thick, crusty skin lesions
eventually the animal succumbs to secondary infections or malnutrition
mange is having a devastating impact on many wombat populations
