Flight

We are having a major heat wave. I clocked 102 degrees in my car downtown this afternoon. That just doesn't happen here. And a wildfire has broken out in the Loma Prieta area of the Santa Cruz Mountains, zero percent contained. You can see the huge smoke plume from town. There's a lot of smoke coming from the tv tonight as well. (Presidential debates, for those of you who don't know.)
