days I'll remember

Going Home

Eighteen-mile training run on the bike this morning, no stops except to have my brakes adjusted at The Bicycle Works.

Shower then pick up Mrs BrB after her Zumba for refreshments. Caramel shortbread always tastes so much better after exercise.

A quiet afternoon then out on one of those bus thingies to pick up our tickets, then a walk through a totally packed High Street to the Mother India Cafe for a delicious curry. Nipped next door to cafe Viana for an espresso, then across the road to the Jazz Cellar to hear Colin Steele (trumpet) and Brian Kellock (just amazing piano).

This was taken near The Pleasance looking towards Salisbury Crags, where we could make out the occasional light from an installation taking place below Arthur's seat.

A pretty good day.
