Far away bus

Autumn is here. Although not actually raining, the ground is wet and water drips from leaves. Down in the valley you can just see the school bus snaking along the road to Peebles.

After finalising arrangements for next month's visit to Pennsylvania, I head into town. I meet Theo and Tracey in Filament - another hipster coffee bar on South Clerk Street. We put together a training proposal and consume pricy beverages.

I follow this by 'hanging out' with a Hungarian colleague in the South Pour. He's in Budapest. The Hangout is provided by Google. Then it's time to fix some typos in a training workbook - just in time for dinner at Clerks Bar. A strange place - two TVs opposite each other, one showing American football, the other Russian Television.
