Grand Day Out

Mrs CBL and I thoroughly enjoyed our grand day out with our guest, SweetArt, touring around parts of the north-east of Scotland.

Those of you who follow SweetArt will know of her love of food (she's a wonderful baker) and drink so we planned our trip accordingly.

We visited Dean's Shortbread Factory in Huntly, Strathisla Distillery (whisky) in Keith, Baxter's of Fochabers (various foods and drinks), and Castle Gordon in Fochabers (refreshments!!!).

We ended our day in the sun by driving along the coast through attractive little villages the perfect end to our grand day out!

Added extra is of the staff at Baxter's who treated the ladies to a gin tasting session, it really was great fun (except for the driver who missed out)!
