Turtle Hatchery

Took a trip down the coast to Galle today, and stopped off at the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.

This group (including many international volunteers) are doing tremendous conservation work and teaching people a lot about turtles in the process.

These little guys are two days old and are scheduled for release tomorrow. About 50% of them will make it, but that is nature's way. Without the work of Kosgoda, there would be a whole lot less.
