Melrose

We finally took the "new" Borders Railway to Tweedbank and walked along the river to Melrose. Having visited the abbey before, we opted for Harmony House (above) Gardens, a property of the National Trust of Scotland, lunch and a wee shopping spree that involved fresh produce from said gardens and -mmmh- tablet for the long train journey home.
