Nagasaki

The 67th anniversary of the second and last atomic bombing - I repaired about one hundred of the cranes I had gathered on August 6th and hung on the statue to Sadako's raised arm. Read August 6th entry for the rest of the story.

It was quite nice to sit and stiich the paper cranes together and has me thinking of preparing a pile of squares to fold maybe 10 every day, in 100 days I would have 1000 and could add my wish to those for peace to the pile. But of course there are other critical actions towards that wish that perhaps have more impact. Somehow to rise out of the sense of powerlessness------.
