Streetcar View

It's actually one of Milan's versions of a tram, viewed from our airport bus as we approached our stop.  When we got out, I discovered to my horror that my suitcase was not on the bus--it had almost certainly been taken from the bus's holding space at Malpensa Airport before the bus left.  Only the driver was with the bus and he was overwhelmed selling tickets (every seat was taken).    My friend Christina had invited us to dinner with her family, and that fortunately provided us with distraction and commiseration.  We'll be spending the weekend at their country house--more on her then.

Posted late the next day; no word of the suitcase, and we had no hope anyway.
