Lap of Luxury

Today started really well; bumped into Soli from Sa Penya - had a really warm chat, talking babies, our families, life...she was so so warm and keen to natter. It might seem minor, but the Roma women are very hard to get to know, so it felt major!
Then after most of the morning working in the café, had a message from Joha asking if I'd join her for coffee...so I swapped cafés and caught up with her. 
Then this evening we went across the island to see Danny's Mom & her husband, here for a few days... Their place is amazing, with wonderful views across the countryside & lovely attention to detail...little things hanging in the olive trees, twinkly lights wrapped around trees, carefully mismatched glasses etc... Plus dinner there was pretty fantastic. 
Asha insisted on wearing her party dress to see them, I liked the colours of her cardie, dress & buttons together.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A day of women! Soli, Joha, an elderly neighbour... Lots of good conversation.
2) Feeling like the morning had been really well used. Satisfying.
3) Karen & Gary's generosity.
