Drenched

We survived!!  And we were very lucky - our power was out for about 4 hours, but there are many places where it still haven't been restored.

For those who haven't caught up with events yet - we had a state-wide power outage yesterday afternoon.  Gale force winds toppled those great big power towers that march across the country side, leaving a swath of destruction.  So the inter-connectors were tripped, closing down power across the State.

Today we have gale force winds, and never-ending rain, so there will be floods down the hill in Adelaide again.

I am just off to the airport to collect the Rower, and I'm giving myself plenty of time to get there, because traffic lights are still out.

What a mess.
